How We Maintain Independence

When a platform publishes market data, independence matters. We explain our funding model, data sources, and commitment to unbiased information so users understand how Del Nexo operates.

Our Data Sources

CBR Transaction Records

When properties are bought and sold, the Conservador de Bienes Raíces records these transactions. We access these public records and organize them by location and property type. The CBR is the official registry - we do not modify or interpret the transaction data.

DOM Building Permits

When construction projects receive approval, municipal Direcciones de Obras grant building permits. These are public records showing what development has been authorized. We compile permits from different municipalities into a searchable database organized by comuna and project type.

Market Survey Data

When we need information on vacancy rates and rental prices, we aggregate data from multiple public and commercial sources. We cite our sources and explain our methodology. Users can see where numbers come from and evaluate reliability themselves.

No Recommendations or Advice

When someone visits our platform, they see data presentation - not investment advice. We do not tell people whether to buy, sell, rent, or invest in specific properties or areas.

We publish transaction prices, permit data, vacancy rates, and market trends. Each user interprets this information according to their own situation and objectives.

This approach keeps our platform neutral. We provide information tools rather than making judgments about what the data means for individual decisions.

Our Operating Principles

Data First

When we design features, data accuracy and completeness come first. Visual presentation serves the data - not the other way around. If a chart looks impressive but misrepresents information, we redesign the chart.

Transparent Methods

When we aggregate or calculate derived metrics, we document our methodology. Users can see how vacancy indices are calculated, how price averages are determined, and what time periods data covers.

No Commercial Bias

When we present data about different areas or property types, we do not favor certain locations or developments. We do not accept payment to highlight specific properties or suppress unfavorable data about areas.

Equal Access

When someone visits our platform, they get the same data as everyone else. No premium tiers with better information. No insider access. The dashboard available to individual users shows the same data available to institutional researchers.

Regular Updates

When new data becomes available from official sources, we update our platform. Transaction records, building permits, and market surveys are incorporated as they are published. Users see current information, not outdated snapshots.

Data Integrity

When we identify errors or inconsistencies in source data, we note them rather than silently correcting. If official records contain obvious mistakes, we flag them so users can make informed judgments about data reliability.

Our Funding Model

When a data platform needs funding, the source of that funding affects independence. Del Nexo operates through a transparent model that keeps data publication separate from commercial interests.

We do not sell user data. We do not accept payment from developers, brokers, or financial institutions to promote specific properties or suppress unfavorable information.

The platform remains free for all users because we believe market transparency benefits everyone - from individual homebuyers to policy researchers to journalists covering real estate trends.
